THERMOID General Aviation

Aeroduct wire-supported ducting, in its various forms and constructions, provides the most versatile type of ducting in the industry. It’s suitable for permanent or temporary installations to meet many different applications. Aeroduct aircraft ducting is manufactured with fiberglass fabric, impregnated with neoprene or silicone rubber compounds that are developed for flame resistance and high-temperature applications.

Aeroduct® SCAT Single Ply Silicone Coated Ducting – Red

  • Recommended for use in conducting extremely cold or hot air ranging, from -65°F to +550°F
  • Lightweight and extremely flexible
  • Constructed in short sections that can be joined to form continuous length to minimizes waste

Not recommended for negative pressure applications

Aeroduct® SCEET Double Ply Silicone Coated Ducting – Red

  • Highly flexible
  • Easily installed around obstructions and sharp bends
  • Less air friction loss than similar non-lined ducting
  • Ideal for use in extremely cold or hot air, ranging from -80°F to +550°F
  • Good for conveying fumes

Not recommended for applications involving liquids or highly abrasive materials or for negative pressure applications.

Aeroduct® CAT Single Ply Neoprene Coated Ducting – Black

  • Extremely lightweight, highly flexible, low-pressure ducting
  • Suitable for conveying fumes and air
  • Short lengths can be easily joined together to form a continuous length

Not recommended for handling liquids or highly abrasive materials or for negative pressure applications.

Aeroduct® CEET Double Ply Neoprene Coated Ducting – Black

  • Features a fabric liner on the inside diameter allows air to flow smoothly, even in tight bends
  • Offers less air friction loss than unlined ducting
  • Recommended for use in hot or cold air applications and for conveying fumes

Not recommended for conveying liquids or highly abrasive materials or for negative pressure applications.

Aeroduct® LORA and SLOOT Sleeving

  • Produced with unlimited variety of materials and rubber compounds
  • Specially fabricated flame-resistant fiberglass infused with neoprene or silicone rubber are most common sleeving
  • Nylon, cotton and other basic fabrics available
  • Excellent non-metallic conduit to protect cables and electric wiring
  • Can be hand crushed during installation and will shape to square or rectangular rigid tube ends
  • Installation features:
    • Compensation for misalignment during install
    • Dampens and absorbs vibration
    • Provides for deflection
    • Absorbs longitudinal expansion contraction prevalent in metal tubing
